Here's a sneak preview screenshot or two of Vexed running under UIQ. There's just one or two things I want to do before releasing this to the public. Firstly, I need to tweak the menu system a little bit, as UIQ currently needs a bit of a hack to get the Menu on screen all the time (all other OPL runtimes only show the menu when it is asked for). UIQ had the same problem with the J2ME runtime as well, which resulted in some hacking around from UIQ.
The second is the screen layout. There's a lot of white space, so I think there's enough room to have a number of blocks remaining strip (a la the 92x0 Communicator version). We've no proportional fonts yet (the runtime is only 0.50 remember) but now we've got the level name and number, moves made and par all on display.
I'll be including four level packs with the first release, and three 'skins' of icons. If yuo;d like to help with pre-release testing, please email me.
