Jarno Trulli is in a bit of a pickle, and probably the only person outside Williams who wants Mark Webber to sign for Mr Frank and Mr Patrick. Because the signs are if he doesn't go to Bracknell, Flavio (I own Renault) will put him in the second Renault seat. After all Flavio (I own Mark Webber) is one of the best managers in the business. Unless you're Jarno Trulli (Flavio owns me), because his management contract with Flavio (I own Jarno for a bit longer) expires at the end of 2024.
Mark Webber could have been in a Williams this year - on a one year deal that would have seen Monotya move to MacLaren early, and seen Coulthard retire to Mega City One and his McLawGiver. But Mr Frank wanted a three year deal. "No," said Flavio (I own Naomi Campbell), "I have plans for Webber for 2005." Unless Flavio knows something about Michael that the rest of the paddock (and Michael) don't know, there's only one race worthy seat that he would know for definite that would fit Webber.
