What are "The Symbian Diaries"
The Symbian Diaries is an internet community for anyone and anything related, even remotely, to the Symbian OS. You'll find information, personal views, applications and projects throughout the Symbian Diaries site. Please take some time to discover the vibrant world of Symbian.
There are three main types of "Symbian Diary" you'll find here. They are...
Personal Views
What would be considered as a normal Blog, where Symbian users comment on anything they want - they might not be 100% Symbian related, but they are all worthwhile reading.
Ongoing Symbian Projects
Projects run by a few people, or those where news needs to passed over for the average user (as opposed to in code repository mazes like Source Forge) can be found in Symbian Diaries.
Application Homepages
Written an application? Need a home for it where you don't need to worry about html, hosting costs, or bandwidth costs? Symbian Diaries can be your application's homepage on the internet.
If you want a Symbian Diary, just email us!

The first post here.
Should there be more links to different blogs, as the index2 is down?
Yes,is it? :D
Anyone has a couple of bucks to spare?
I'm hungry :D
Occassionally things will go down as we do backroom stuf before an official Launch mid April. At the moment we're updating a few things so sites can be 'hidden' on that master list, hence having to ull it down
Ok, so that explains it then. I was wondering when is the official lauch date. So this clears that up too.
I think we're looking at April 14th as the 'Official' launch date, so make sure your own Diaries are ready to cope (although I see the diaries being linked through more and more sigs on AAS) :-)
Guys? Would it be possible for anyone(Me for instance) to write their own Symbian Diary?
This migh have been said in the e-mail( i recieved from Ewan) which was lost in a partition coruption.
Hmmm, interesting. Fun to read and definitively nice to get to know more of you people. But you should add a link from each of your personal main pages to this (Symbian diaries main page) to make it easier to surf around. Or did I just not find it?
To Laura: True, it would be nice (and I have a link, but you didnt find it).
GhostDog: Send mail to Ewan, and you should get your own pages. I think he has already sent you an invitation (that you have successfully lost).
Any chance of exposing RSS feeds for this?
Go on - you know you want to!
K.
Well,i did e-mail Ewan about it couple of days ago.I wonder if something whent wrong again(Probably me),you know,i'm awesome at loosing stuff. :D
Oh well,he might be busy!
GhostDog, it's set up now!
Guys, something strange is really happening, and i hope its just this IE6 and this Windows XP fault.
I just clicked April's archives an Rafe's blog and you can imagine my suprise when the page that opened was April's arhives of GhostDog's mind rides.
I hope i didn't screw up something when managing my blog.
Can someone check this.
Some additional info.
I noticed this in the core setup on my blog:/home/diaries/public_html/archives/rafe/ is set as Local Archive Path.
Is this right?
GhostDog, no that's not right and there's probably a corruption somewhere, "rafe" should read your username, so if you log in as GhostDog, swap "rafe" for "ghostdog".
I dont know if a mentioned this, but it seems that only April's archives on Rafe's blog are affected by this "coruption"
Ok, seems like someone has repaired the css for this as it now looks good on Opera too :D
