Alliance between PalmSource and PalmGear to advance the Palm Economy

To improve the success of the Palm Economy, PalmSource Inc (Palm OS provider and subsidiary of Palm Inc) and PalmGear Inc (oldest and largest Palm consumer marketplace) have today announced a "strategic alliance". As part of this, PalmGear have acquired PalmSource's subsidiary Palm Digital Media and will create a new online PalmSource store, as well as licensing the PalmGear, Palm Digital Media and Palm Reader brands.
