Connect Talent Show



Well in Feb 2002 (just after the €uro had been introduced, i went to Berlin. The trip was by coach, but hadn't planned anything. On the first day, I found "The Harp Irish Pub". It was a great find, as the staff all spoke English and then on the Tuesday I was there, this event which I when I got home to UK found this info about the evening. (Before you think anything naughty, was a very Funny, Repectable evening).

On way back to UK I had a bag stolen with my 2 digital cameras (Sony Mavica FD92 & a Kodak), but luckily I gave someone a disc with photos on, so didn't actually lose many/any.

Here now is the Advert for the Evening (which may have put me off if I had read before):-

Tuesday 26TH February 2002
At 2100 hours

THE HARP IRISH PUB; GIESEBRECHT STRASSE 15; CORNER OF SYBELSTRASSE; CHARLOTTENBURG (opposite The Kurbel Cinema)

Ubahn: Adenauer Platz (Sbahn: Charlottenburg) or any of the buses that go up and down the Ku`Damm!!

SLAVES SEARCH!! who are willing to auction their talents to members of Connect for one day only!!. The highest bidder wins the services of that slave. Services are at the discretion of the slave and his/her future owner eg: gardening, interior decor, translating etc. Costs such as retaurants, clubs etc. are expected to be paid by the owner. Men and Women of all nationalities, ages, occupations and levels of English are welcome. Slaves are expected to wear a costume of their choice.
